Psalm 93:2 Your throne is established from of old; You are from everlasting.
There are ways of saying things that will stop and make people think and this verse should be one of those because it declares the eternity of Christ being our King of Kings.
We can look back over the history of our countries and see the kings and queens that ruled many years ago and see how some were successful and others failed miserably. But all have a limited time on the throne.
Christ, on the other hand, has had this throne for as long as we can think. Christ has had His throne for all eternity; from before history began!

Jeremiah 10:10 But the Lord is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth will tremble, And the nations will not be able to endure His indignation.
When we talk about God it is not talking about some external power that plays with us like puppets but a living and ever present God who cares for us like a true Father does.
He is our creator who made everything around us and has given us charge of so much. He has even given us charge of His gospel!
We have governments who come and go, break things, build things up, annoy people, please people and generally fight against each other.
God is the one who has power over them all. We all need to fear God!

Daniel 4:3 How great are His signs, And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His dominion is from generation to generation.
How often do you think that you are the first to come up with a new thing or the first to have to face the hardships you face?
If we are honest we all have felt like that in the past as we think we are hard done by or that we are the first to experience the horrors we face.
What we do need to remember is that God has been supporting man from the beginning of time and has done so much of this before that we now have books telling us all about it. We need to read about it and apply what has been learned already!

Revelation 15:3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvellous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
How often do you think about what it will be like in heaven? Well, I would like you to think of just one aspect of being in heaven today.
What will you be doing when you actually KNOW the truth; you are in heaven and the truth is now right in front of you!
Why then do we offer up half-hearted things to God just because we do not have physical proof sitting on top of the table in front of our faces?

Psalm 92:5 O Lord, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep.
The more that we do find out about the world and about how we have been made, the more we should be marvelling at God’s intricate design!
There is no way we will ever get to the bottom of how God has designed us because we do not have the mind of God.
But God does keep on encouraging us and keeps on showing us more each and every day that we are willing to listen and to learn. Continue learning and giving God the glory for all that He does!

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
If we are going to say that we believe in God then we must also believe in what He has done in the beginning.
There are many who will profess faith but still want scientific proof to reinforce what has been written down instead of trusting God’s Word.
I do like proof because it makes me feel better knowing there is proof; but I have to trust God and have faith that what He wrote down is the absolute truth. That is my faith.

Our bodies are incredibly complex and doctors continue to struggle to learn more every day to try and help mankind to improve; to what end?
We know deep within ourselves that we are created and not just an accident waiting to improve!

John 3:19 This is the verdict: light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
If you want to be able to do something you should not be doing, you are more likely to go off and do that in the dark rather than in the spot-light!
Jesus knows our every though and He is the one who is the Light of the world. When we come close to Him we are overshadowed by that light which tends to show up every small speck of dirt!
Let us stop trying to hide in the shadows and reach out to grasp God’s love, that awesome bright light that can uncover any sin!

John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
It is truly amazing that Christ was willing to go to the cross and lay down His life so that we would not be condemned to an eternal death.
It is also amazing that our condemnation hangs on this belief in Christ being the Son of God.
But what we must never forget is that without that belief, we are condemning ourselves to all eternity without hope.
Spread the hope! Spread the life!

There is always going to be someone who thinks they have gone too far and will not ask for forgiveness. I’m not just limiting this to sinning against God and asking for His forgiveness, but all walks of life.
But this is the awesome fact; God has promised to forgive us if we are willing to admit to our sins ad believe in Jesus Christ!
That is a fact. That is a promise. And it is the truth that we can all look forward to!

1 Timothy 1:15 The saying is sure and worthy of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the foremost.
So many people do not like to be called sinners because it is degrading to them; after all, how could they be as bad as the person next door!
Do not get caught up in being like the Pharisee and apportion blame on someone else when we are the sinners.
Accept the fact that we are sinners and ask God for His forgiveness; that is what He is waiting for!

How many times do we look to the wrong place to get our spiritual support and encouragement?
We all do need support from those around us to help build up our spiritual strength, but we must never forget that this comes from Christ alone.
Christ may use the people around us to help us, but He is the source of that encouragement.

John 16:33 ‘I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’
What an awesome thing to understand and have complete faith in; that Christ has already overcome the world so that we do not have to worry about what it can do to us!
That does not mean that you should not be scared of fire – it is still hot and will still burn you! What is being said is that no matter what the world throws at you, all it can do to you is just physical.
God is the one who holds your soul safely in His hands with a firm grip that will never let go or falter!

Ouch!
Isn’t it horrible when someone says something that cuts you down to size! God’s Word is exactly like that when you take it to heart!
Don’t ever think that God’s Word has been written down for someone else to read or to study. It has been written down for YOU!
We are not talking about picking up a huge wooden structure and carrying it round on your shoulders like a few people like to do over Easter – we are talking about the things in life that we find hard to accept as being necessary.
Don’t give up, give in to God!

What would you do if you were faced with the decision of going off and trying to live a long and prosperous life, or giving it all up to follow Christ?
Be honest! Are you ready for the challenge? Are you willing to take that big step forward? Will you put your faith and trust in One God?
The benefits go far beyond you can imagine, but the price you have to pay may be more than you imagine too.
I was willing. I have never regretted it!

2 Peter 1:14 knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.
The apostle was under no illusion that he would be able to live a long life just because he knew God; rather he knew he was facing a shortened life because of that belief.
In the UK we have the freedom of being able to worship God openly and yet so many choose to ‘leave it for now’ or ‘come back later’!
NOW is the time! Not tomorrow. Not next week. NOW; just as Christ showed us!

Psalm 37:37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.
None of us can ever hope to be perfect within ourselves or by ourselves; some religions or sects try to aim for people to attain such a position for themselves but always find it is impossible for all!
God created Adam and Eve and yet they were still able to be tempted and to sin. It is that sin nature within ourselves that breaks us and make us realise we need a Saviour who is willing to remake us.
Christ rebuilds us from the inside as we live with Him and it is only because He is willing to forgive us and present us as being perfect that we can be. I live for God’s peace.

Psalm 119:116 Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; And do not let me be ashamed of my hope.
We all face discouragement and hardships at times, but God is able to hold us and keep us throughout everything.
Not only that, but He wants us to live our lives in a manner where we are happy and content with all He provides. But more than that, He wants us to live eternally with Him!
That way we will never be ashamed of saying that we depend on The Lord for everything, on all the hope He gives us through His Word!

1 Corinthians 16:22 If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!
What a sentence to end the letter to the Corinthians with! But it is there to remind us just how important a decision we have to make!
It is not there as a personal snub to anyone who dares not to follow on from Paul’s teaching but a dire warning that if anyone chooses to ignore God, they choose death!
Let us never grow weary of warning people that they do have a choice to make and it must be made before it is too late. We do not know the time, but we know it is growing later every day.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
The most amazing thing about true love is that it is a two way thing. No matter what place you are in life, if you display true love toward someone else, they will be able to love you back!
That love is not the corrupt ‘love’ that man thinks of but a love that comes from deep inside and lasts forever.
This is the love that Christ has shown us from the beginning and a love that is enduring; His absolute love that He has personally shown us… which makes it easy for us to love Him!
