Psalm 32:7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

One thing we can be sure of is there will always be trouble in this world – we are surrounded by sin, sinful ways and trouble in general, no matter where we are.

Even being stuck at home alone you are exposed to trouble the news and the Internet – we cannot get away from it.

But we do have a protector who is willing to stand with us and guide us through the trouble – if we listen.

John 9:37 Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”

What will it take for you to follow Christ without question? Do you have to have a personal miracle before you believe?

We have learned to be wary of so many things in life that it is hard to believe in things sometimes.

I love reading my bible and finding snippets which make me realise how God is always with us!

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

When Jesus was trying to comfort the sisters of Lazarus he spoke some very profound words here to Martha which may well gave gone over the heads of some people…

Whomever is willing to believe in Jesus as our Saviour, will live… even though we will die physically, our souls are going to live on forever with Him!

Martha knew this and believed it, but still limited it to her own physical life and situation; Jesus was about to open the gospel of ‘no limits’ when He brought Lazarus back to life!

John 5:21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.

Jesus stamped His authority in these few words, but still gives the ultimate glory to God His Father.

Jesus is the Son of God and deserves our praise and glory, and yet He chose to come into our lives and give His life for us. He chose to be our Saviour.

His love was displayed through how He lived and how He healed people wherever He went – because He loves His people, us!
